Photos: Girls just wanna have fun! Ladies' Day at the Investec Derby Festival

The day might have begun with a series of downpours but when the sun came out on Ladies' Day at the Investec Derby Festival, so did an incredible array of body art.

Elaborate butterflies peeked from beneath hemlines and were splashed on ankles, while sleeves were rolled up to reveal designs that ranged from flowers to birds and, in one case, a microphone.

Later, as the champagne flowed and the sun shone, even more skin - with ink and without - was revealed, after racegoers kicked off their heels and relaxed while they watched the action.
