Tiger Woods shoots 85 for worst round on PGA Tour

Tiger Woods shot his worst score as a pro Saturday at Muirfield Village Golf Club, an 85, only the third time in his career that he has shot in the 80s.Woods, 39, a five-time winner of
the Memorial Tournament, is making just his fifth
start of 2015 but has regressed this week, struggling to hit the wide fairways at Muirfield and then compounding it Saturday with putting problems.

Playing partner Zac Blair, a rookie on the PGA Tour, beat Woods by 15 shots, shooting 2-under-par 70.

The 85 dropped Woods into last place by 8 shots and, unless he asks for a marker, he will play the final round on Sunday by himself.

Woods shot 82 during the second round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open in January; his previous worst score was an 81 during the third round of the 2002 Open Championship at Muirfield in Scotland.

He declined to speak with reporters afterward
