Nestle lose appeal against India Maggi noodles ban
Nestle has lost its appeal for a stay of the nationwide ban on Maggi noodles in India.
A ban was brought in last week after tests deemed them to contain "unsafe and hazardous" amounts of lead.
Nestle maintains the noodles are safe but last week began withdrawing them from Indian shops.
The instant noodles arrived in India in 1983 and can be found in corner shops across the country.
Nestle have argued that the tests that found lead are flawed and inaccurate.
The next hearing where the ban could be revoked is 30 June.
