Glastonbury set for Kanye West show

Rapper Kanye West will attempt to win over the Glastonbury festival when he performs later, following some controversy over his headline booking.

The divisive and unpredictable star will top the bill on the Pyramid Stage.

More than 134,000 people signed a petition objecting to his booking and organiser Emily Eavis had death threats on Twitter from a disgruntled fan.

Other acts performing on Saturday include Burt Bacharach, Pharrell Williams, George Ezra and Paloma Faith.

The weather on the Somerset site brightened up on Saturday following Friday's rain, although more showers are forecast for Sunday.
